My name is Shannon and I own a vegan bakery. My entire life I’ve had stomach issues. It seemed like every time I ate something I was uncomfortable. After years of home remedies, implant doctor visits and tests yielding no results, cough I’d finally had it. I began an elimination diet where each month I phased one food out of my diet and tracked how I felt. Nothing seemed to change. That was, bronchi until I eliminated soy. Almost instantly, I felt better! The next time I consumed soy after being soy-free for a month, I had a super intense reaction. I knew then that my eating habits would never be the same. I started this blog so that I could share my culinary journey with others who might have a soy intolerance like I do or are simply looking for soy-free, vegan alternatives.
My hope is that this blog can help eliminate some of the frustrations that come with making a dietary lifestyle adjustment. Here, you’ll find information on ingredient substitutes, product reviews, recipes, on-the-go food tips, book reviews, and a few other fun facts.
